Degree of hardness
The hardness (Shore A) of the TAMPOPRINT printing pads is determined by the color coding of the base plate:
- 1 Shore-A = blue
Used for sensitive, easily breakable surfaces - 3 Shore-A = red
For use on highly curved surfaces - 6 Shore-A = green
For use in universal applications (standard in scope of delivery) - 12 Shore-A = white & 18 Shore-A = black
Used for textured surfaces, flat printed parts, pad shapes with low volume, flat pad shapes, extremely high printing speeds
Our tip for you!
Increase service life:
- Unpack the pad immediately after delivery.
- After printing, clean with a lint-free cleaning cloth and pad cleaner.
- Rub in Longlife oil (art. no. 141112) before storing. Exception: Silicone material “ST” = super dry, must not be rubbed with Longlife oil.
- Remove dried ink residue during the printing process with adhesive film (ink residue pick-up) for optimum printing results.
